Doomsday Survival: Rules of the Strange Tales [Infinite]

[Did you know? Every well in this world is actually the same well.]

[The bride who disappeared into an ancient well and the man who hanged himself in an abandoned well are actually the same person.]

[Can you understand what I'm saying?]

[It's okay. You'll understand.]

In the first year after nuclear-contaminated wastewater was discharged into the ocean, no one knew what these words meant.

In the seventh year after nuclear-contaminated wastewater was discharged into the ocean, humanity's living space had been steadily squeezed away. All coastal cities were abandoned, and everyone was forced to live inland.

In the twenty-first year after nuclear-contaminated wastewater was discharged into the ocean, seventy-five percent of the world's land was polluted. Resources became desperately scarce, and some people began eking out a living in garbage dumps.

In the fifty-second year after nuclear-contaminated wastewater was discharged into the ocean, gigantic mutated sea creatures came out of the ocean and onto land. Humanity was forced to live underground, becoming the lower-class citizens of the "New World."

Do you understand what I'm saying now?

It's okay. You'll understand.

Su Nai, an incorrigibly unlucky woman who had spent ten years living in another apocalyptic world, transmigrated into the body of an unsupported twelve-year-old girl in this world. To survive, she volunteered to work on the surface.

Everyone who worked there received a surface safety manual for the New World.

Surface Workers' Safety Manual

1. Daily working hours are 09:00-14:00. Please complete your work within the designated hours. Do not attempt to work overtime.

2. Wear protective gear at all times. There should be no humans on the surface without protective gear.

3. Do not enter areas not shown on the map. If you do enter one, do not panic. Stay where you are and wait for rescue by staff in red protective suits.

4. Remember, humans do not breathe through gills.

5. Do not approach the aquarium. No humans live in the water. If you get close, do not panic. Enter the visitor center and wait for rescue by staff in yellow protective suits.

6. If someone asks you for help, do not refuse.

7. Make sure you have received the correct safety manual.

However, on her very first day at work...

Just as her shift was about to end, a human without protective gear asked her for help, hoping she would take him to the aquarium.
