My Whole Family Are Wicked Supporting Female Characters

At the start of her second year of high school, Shu Yao discovers that her entire family consists of villainous supporting characters in a romance novel.

Her mother repeatedly plots to frame others, and is eventually driven out by the family along with her two daughters. She later dies from overwork as a dishwasher.

Her older sister, Shu Mei, tries to steal the fiancé of her rich and beautiful roommate. She ends up expelled from school and murdered in an alley.

And Shu Yao, a beautiful airhead, bullies the heroine relentlessly throughout high school and college and competes with her for the male lead, before finally jumping into the sea and killing herself.

Shu Yao tilts her head toward Xia Yunqiu, the heroine, who is quietly working on a math test beside her. It's their first day as deskmates, the first day Xia Yunqiu has met her, and the second year Shu Yao has been secretly in love with her.

From then on, Shu Yao follows the plot in constant fear while using the System's downtime to frantically make things right. She becomes a little mute, treating the heroine with boundless gentleness and consideration.

Once the high school and college plotlines are over, Shu Yao swiftly disappears from the heroine's world.

They meet again on the day the novel's villainess is supposed to jump into the sea. Clutching Xia Yunqiu's clothes, Shu Yao sobs, her tears making her look all the more pitiful. "Please, ask your husband to show mercy and spare my life. I'm still so young. I don't want to die..."

Before she can finish, Xia Yunqiu cuts her off. The woman, usually cool and beautiful, smiles with extraordinary warmth. "I don't have a husband, only a wife. Now go lie down in bed and wait for me."

Shu Yao spends the entire night lying down.

A month later, Shu Yao runs away again. She's discovered that the plot has gone off the rails.
