Other people who transmigrate into anime worlds get a System, an overpowered golden finger that lets them dominate everyone, or a warm and healing life of running a business. But I'm an ordinary Korean exchange student, more ordinary than you can imagine. My only two skills are my less-than-fluent Korean and cooking that won't kill anyone.
A disastrous start.
As one of countless students studying overseas, Ying Yue doesn't speak English fluently like students in the US and UK, nor has she picked up the romantic air of students in France. As an utterly ordinary Korean exchange student, she always thought she'd return home after graduating and inherit her family's Korean barbecue restaurant, becoming a happy owner who ate, drank, and enjoyed herself every day, with the occasional trip for a change of scenery. But why can't the plane bringing her home just do its job properly?! After getting off, she sees hair in every color and is still marveling at how many trendy people there are back home these days when the unfamiliar language hits her like a ton of bricks.
What the heck?! You're a plane, not a portal! You stole someone else's job, you know that?
Theme: This absurd world persecutes everyone equally
Speaking of negative emotions... From childhood to adulthood, domestic students can pick out any one and there will be no shortage of them (tired smile. To be honest, the key to studying abroad is that you don't know the language well and you are not acclimated to the country. You have to be jet-lagged, you have to be sick and eat, and you don't know how to deal with all the procedures. As a result, as soon as you go abroad, do you expect all the students to think that you are some kind of superman? Ah, I am so envious of the beautiful life in the second dimension that will not be beaten by reality...
