Ji Yanbai survived a brush with death, only to be told by the System that he was the male lead's white moonlight.

The gentle, soft-spoken boy felt his gaze and instantly blushed to the tips of his ears, burying his face in his scarf.

The System saw him still spacing out and hurried him along. "The male lead is coming any second. Hurry up and bully him, so the male lead can swoop in and save the damsel in distress."
Ji Yanbai walked over to the boy, but before he could say anything...
"Su Yu, so this is where you were hiding."
The frail boy stumbled as the male lead shoved him, and Ji Yanbai instinctively caught him.
The System was stunned. "Why are you helping him?"
Ji Yanbai let go with an innocent look. "My hand slipped."
The System believed him. "Be more careful next time."
Later,
Su Yu almost got hit by a ball, and Ji Yanbai happened to be passing by and casually smacked it away.
System: "!"
Ji Yanbai: "...I thought it was going to hit me."
Su Yu was locked in the bathroom by his classmates, and Ji Yanbai happened to come by.
The cramped space held only the two of them. The System was raring to go. "Hurry up and bully him."
Looking at the boy's reddened eyes, Ji Yanbai spent ages working up to the insult. "Idiot."
Who knew the boy would throw himself into his arms and sob softly?
System: "Weren't you supposed to bully him?"
Ji Yanbai: "Didn't I bully him until he cried?"
System: "I guess... that checks out?"
The System looked at the male lead's love interest lying on the bed with tears in his eyes and silently stared at the sky. I told you to bully him, not to bully him in bed!
