The ceiling of martial prowess: clearheaded, foolish transmigrator, a brocade-clad guard x the ceiling of intellect: scheming, reborn chief eunuch
A love story between a cheerful, lively puppy of a man and a cold, wicked, domineering man from ancient times.
Chen Yao transmigrates into the mobile game The Villain's Comeback Training Diary, which he often plays, and becomes one of the brocade-clad guards in villain Xie Yunting's guard squad, a prospective enforcer in his household.
The frail male college student blacks out on the spot.
Fortunately, his account for another martial arts game transmigrates with him. With the game's template and a gorgeous character model, Chen Yao immediately gains cheat-level powers and becomes the strongest fighter of his time.
He's got food and shelter, and his life is safe, so Chen Yao decides to lie flat and stop struggling.
But... when the chief eunuch, whom he could once only reach through a screen, appears right before his eyes, he can't help falling for this character's resilience and tragic circumstances, and his refusal to bow to fate.
I have to help him, Chen Yao thinks.

Xie Yunting has kept a low profile since childhood. To avenge himself on his enemies, he entered the palace as a eunuch and clawed his way up, step by step, until he became the most powerful man in the dynasty.
He holds fast to his principles and refuses to bow to fate. Everything he does is upright and leaves his conscience clear.
But only after his death does he learn that he is the villain of this world. He watches the people rejoice at his death and the court celebrate in harmony. Deeply betrayed, Xie Yunting turns completely dark and becomes a cold, wicked chief eunuch.
Then he is reborn, returned to the time when he held great power, had the emperor's trust, and basked in glory.
This time, there's still time to change everything.
Only now, someone special has appeared in his world.
A cultivator raised in the mountains, ignorant of worldly ways and peerless in martial arts, yet lively, beautiful, warm, and affectionate.
More importantly, no matter what, he will rush to Xie Yunting without hesitation.

Everyone knows that the cold and ruthless chief eunuch has a loyal young brocade-clad guard at his side. His martial arts are unfathomable, and his looks are like those of an immortal, beyond compare.
Everyone knows that he himself is the treasure the chief eunuch keeps his eyes fixed on.
Xie Yunting knows this journey will be fraught with difficulty, but to Chen Yao, he is like a mandrake flower blooming in hell.
