A seemingly gentle and distant top who is actually a lovesick, affection-starved, kind-hearted introvert
An honest and straightforward bottom at first, who later becomes a clingy little ray of sunshine
When gentleness meets gentleness
A warm, everyday story about healing oneself. No melodrama, no third party, age gap.
A clever, sweet little story, though my limited vocabulary might make it come off a bit cheesy.
The first few chapters are rather unstructured and probably not very engaging, so you'll need to be patient and keep reading.
This is my first time finishing a whole long story. Please be understanding if there are flaws.
"Jingli" is the top's name.
Yan Zui's journey to win his man:
At their first meeting, he deliberately knocked over a cup, and the other guy only saw him smirking creepily.
He got a childhood friend to add the guy as a friend, and the guy mistook him for the muscular childhood friend.
His older sister acted as his strategist and gave him advice, but the guy saw through it at once.
Yan Zui thought he might be doomed to spend his life alone. Then the guy agreed to date him.
Later, when they talked about the past,
Jingli: "When you fell in love with me at first sight, I thought you were my dog."
Yan Zui: "?"
Jingli: "When you chatted with me using cute stickers, I pictured your childhood friend's face. I always thought you were kind of greasy."
Yan Zui: "??"
Jingli: "When you confessed to me, I thought you had a lot of personality, because you wouldn't leave me alone and you even talked back to me."
Yan Zui: "???"
Jingli used to think love words were impossible to say aloud, almost as embarrassing as a curse. Now, he only feels that words are too light, so weightless when spoken aloud.
What I thought was rotten love began to pour down like a storm.
I love you too, for the rest of my life.
This is a promise.
Just writing on a whim, with terrible prose.
I'm not a good writer, but my baby is wonderful.
