The Demoness Sent as a Bride Only Wants to Seduce the Empress Dowager

Princess Xin Yan, eldest daughter of the Kingdom of Yuequan, repeatedly escapes while on her way to a political marriage, only to be caught and brought back each time.

On her latest escape, she jumps straight out of a third-floor window at an inn in the capital. She doesn't expect a figure to drift down from a third-floor window in the teahouse across the street. With a light step, the woman catches her securely in her arms.

She is an elegant, dignified beauty with a vivid red beauty mark at the corner of her eye. A faint floral and fruity fragrance fills Xin Yan's arms.

None of the princes and nobles of the Great Feng Dynasty are suitable. It seems her only option is to enter the imperial harem.

The emperor is fifty-eight, with a face as rugged as a ravine and wrinkles deep enough to trap a few flies.

Xin Yan: No way. I refuse to marry an old man.

After entering the palace, Xin Yan sees a woman seated beside the old emperor, clad in an elegant, luxurious phoenix robe. The beauty mark at the corner of her eye is as vivid as blood. The old emperor calls her "Mother Empress."

Xin Yan's eyes flicker. She straightens up and says, "Your Majesty, I have found the one I love. I love the Empress Dowager." The entire Great Feng Dynasty is thrown into an uproar. Xin Yan: "What's wrong with that? Women can marry women in the Kingdom of Yuequan."

The old emperor: "Well... that depends on what Mother Empress thinks."

Xin Yan: Simple enough. I just have to seduce her!

Wen Rongjin, the Empress Dowager of the Great Feng Dynasty, was made empress by the late emperor in his twilight years. She entered the palace at fifteen and became empress dowager at sixteen. She had a life of riches and honor, never imagining that at twenty she would meet the calamity of her life. When she returns to Xian Ning Palace, she finds a scantily clad beauty sprawled across her bed, beckoning to her. "Does the Empress Dowager dislike me?"
