The Underworld Parenting App

Jin Huaizi is an old ghost with no descendants to offer him incense. At long last, fortune smiles on him: he manages to snatch a phone that someone burned for the dead! On it is a little game where you raise children as your ancestors. Being an ancestor means having descendants, which means offerings of incense! Jin Huaizi, poor old ghost: !!! Isn't this game made just for me?! I'll raise these kids, and I'll be their ancestor! Rubbing his hands together, Jin Huaizi opens the game and adopts his first child... - Child No. 1 is a poor little thing desperately starved for love. Give him even a little fake affection, and he'll devote his whole life to you. Jin Huaizi: With a kid like this, why would I ever worry about getting offerings of incense? So, with a heavy heart, Jin Huaizi feeds Child No. 1 the little steamed buns he'd saved up for hundreds of years. Child No. 1 is nearly fainting from hunger when a bun belching black smoke suddenly gets shoved into his mouth: ??? Who's trying to poison me?! - Child No. 2 is a possessive little psycho who craves family love. To make sure the family stays together, he murders the whole family so they can reunite in the underworld. Jin Huaizi: ...Good thing I'm not his dad. This kid's a handful. Maybe I should just give up on him. Before leaving, Jin Huaizi even kindly offers him some advice: "You can't pin all your hopes on one tree. If you're unhappy with your current parents, just get a few more and take turns living with them!" As Child No. 2 sharpens his knife, a warm, gentle voice suddenly rings in his mind. It's the voice of the dad he's always dreamed of! #That's a great idea. You'll be my next dad!# - Child No. 3... - Later, as he raises more and more children, Jin Huaizi finally achieves his ultimate dream: abundant offerings of incense and a house full of descendants! Theme: Stay true to yourself. Even in a quagmire, a brilliant flower can bloom.
