[Reborn!] Gazing at the Sky Through the Mist

There's no way I'm giving my beautiful daughter to you!" The rabbit was desperate! Pineapple Sister was so innocent she was clueless about this sort of thing. If he wanted to win her over, he absolutely had to spend more time with her. But Pineapple Dad was too clever. How could he get past him? A kid in a black suit pointed a gun at the rabbit's head. "Listen up and train hard, and you'll get yourself a great wife." Ten years later, the rabbit was taller, stronger, and richer. He was ready to get married. But he had turned black, too... A little note: As you can tell from the blurb, this is a story with absolutely no substance, and the characters are all out of character. All I can say is that I'm not bashing the source material, and I won't turn this into a Mary Sue story or a brainless romance. The characters are very strange. In the everyday-life chapters, they're all idiots [.] But when the plot gets going and they fight, they're perfectly normal [.] But... once in a while, I might still say something ridiculous during a fight. I understand how much some readers love the original Katekyo Hitman Reborn! If you're a purist, you'd better call the author an idiot and run for it... Updates are irregular. I can only promise not to abandon it or make it pay-to-read. Believe me, even if I go a year without updating [...], I'll still come back. If you give me a nudge (somewhere I can see it, of course), I'll come rolling back sooner... (I'm asking to be beaten up v-v-) After my story with Jackie on QQ and my Weibo were bombarded one after another, I was surprised to find that this story, which I myself had long since stopped caring about, was actually my most popular one - - because everyone asking for updates kept saying, "When are you going to update 2796?"... Now that I'm back, I have to be serious: I can only promise not to abandon it or make it pay-to-read. Updating is such a painful business, so I'll have to do it when I have both inspiration and time. If you're willing to believe that no matter how long it takes, I'll crawl back, then... jump in [.] I really couldn't stand looking at the earlier chapters, so I fixed some of the wording. Though I'm unhappy with a lot of it, I don't have time to rewrite it, so I can only make a few small edits and leave it for now. I just want to say I'll do my best to make it better and better. Thank you to the girls who've kept this story in mind, and to the person who'd chase me to the ends of the earth to make me come back and update...
