At twenty, Yun Mo got his first boyfriend, Ji Tongchen. He was handsome and well-mannered, absolutely Yun Mo's type.
But after a few months together, Yun Mo gradually couldn't stand his boyfriend's terrifyingly strong possessiveness and need for control, or his seemingly endless stamina.
So they broke up.
But after the breakup, a series of strange things started happening.
New teachers and students suddenly arrived at school, each more attractive than the last. They had deep, familiar-looking eyes, and they all went out of their way to approach Yun Mo and fuss over him, with an unsettling tenderness.

As time went by, Yun Mo grew increasingly paranoid. The new students seemed to haunt him, always watching him. Even the new teacher seemed up to no good. He often felt that a monster would suddenly leap out at him on his walk home. The letters covered in red writing turned into pairs of red eyes...
Some time later, the old television at home suddenly filled with white static. Then came a familiar voice:
"Krrrk... krrk... Don't let me leave you, darling... Danger... I, I love you..."
The teacher who left, the new school heartthrob, and the ex-boyfriend, none of them seemed human...
Later, when a tsunami struck and people began mutating, the Special Mutant Management Bureau came looking for Yun Mo. "We're searching for a huge, terrifying mutant. We suspect... it's close to you."
Only then did Yun Mo learn that a terrifying mutant had been appearing by his side in all sorts of guises to protect him, giving him the most obsessive kind of love.
Once the secret identity is revealed, they get back together.
On a lovely night, Ji Tongchen snips off a newly grown tentacle.
"Darling... Should we... grow a baby...?"
Yun Mo: ?
"Grow one with what??!!"
Ji Tongchen whispers in his ear: "My new tentacle and... some of yours..."
He pauses, then says the last two words.
Yun Mo: "!"
