A sweet little foodie romance set among ordinary townsfolk, one-on-one

Seven years ago, Wang Youyou escaped from the imperial mausoleum, impersonated the late Madam Wang, and settled in Fengdan Street, Cilu County, where she ran a breakfast stall to make ends meet.

Now the imperial mausoleum has been robbed. The whole city is in an uproar and under lockdown. Wang Youyou is terrified, afraid her secret will come out.

Just then, Madam Wang's husband, Master Chen, returns. Wang Youyou forces a smile, determined to play the virtuous wife.

What a pair of lovebirds, entwined as they sleep. Look closer, and they're just two ducklings putting on a show.

The neighbors all praise them: "The loving couple is finally reunited! This is even better than a play!"

Wang Youyou thinks to herself: "How could that notorious playboy be blushing? And why does my heart race when I see him?"

Master Chen silently tells himself: "How could I bear to give up this false identity? Brother Chen, rest in peace. I'll take good care of your sister-in-law."
