Also known as: The Gods Can Save You [Infinite]
Zhao Shanglu, a noblewoman of the State of Zhao, pretended to be mute at three, blind at seven, and perfected the art of feigned virtue by ten. By twenty, she had become a thoroughly unrepentant menace, and at twenty-one, she was assigned as the villainous BOSS of a horror instance.
She looked at the palace beams in front of her, where hanging ghosts crawled with creaking sounds, and at the barren land where nothing grew but great swathes of skeletal hands.
Zhao Shanglu was furious. She tossed aside her gold toothpick and leaped into the instance. She was going to find:
A royal chef who could cook countless delicacies (The Pig-Headed Monster's Restaurant)
A court musician who could play hundreds of kinds of music (A Night of Puppet Magic)
A farmer to manage her hunting grounds (The Secret Orchard)
And a handsome eunuch chief steward!
In the 23rd century, horror instances swept across the world.
In one deadly instance after another, people either pledged themselves to the gods or submitted to the ghosts, nurturing them with their own blood and sweat in hopes of earning protection.
Yet one person never worshipped the God of Wealth, and still stumbled over huge gold ingots at every turn.
Even more outrageous, her gold could make ghosts work for her!
