When Chuuya Got Bound to a “Food” Comment Stream

Chuya always thought he was lucky. After being accidentally picked up by Konnosuke, he gained a family who truly loved and protected him. He worked hard to earn money, hoping to give them a better life.

But the comment system that had followed him all along was set on raising him into a world-famous literary giant. The red-haired boy, who was much more interested in food, felt a little torn. He never said so, but he also treasured the comments that had always kept him company. Wouldn’t they be sad if he failed the missions?

The commenters, however, were much more easygoing than he was.

[Ah, the talent points are a little weird, but this is so delicious! Chuya, Chuya, I want to try this too!]

The commenters were so happy being fed that they forgot their original goal, though some were clearly still thinking about it.

[Chuya’s happiness is the most important thing, but it’s such a shame we won’t get the reward.]

1. The whole point of this story was to make up for past regrets and give Chuya a happy childhood, so there are lots of scenes from his childhood. Please don’t read if that bothers you.

3. In my version, Tomoeda is in Yokohama, close to Rikkai, and Rikkai has won three consecutive championships.

But after trying it out on a whim, he saw his childhood friend’s gravestone!

After several attempts, Matsuda Jinpei not only failed to learn what had happened, but also found out a whole lot of alarming information. With no other choice, he reported everything, only to be tricked by an old fox into the hell of overtime.

A fellow temporary civil servant pushed up his glasses. “Don’t worry. As long as you don’t clock out, you don’t have to come back to work. If you don’t sleep, you don’t have to get up. Nothing can defeat us.”

Members of the Port Mafia were horrified to discover that Lord Dazai seemed to have been possessed!

Not trying to kill himself, not causing trouble, and even working seriously? That absolutely wasn’t Lord Dazai.

But seeing how unapologetic he was, everyone began to doubt their own judgment. No, it probably wasn’t possession. Could it be... a split personality?

The Boss and the others didn’t seem to mind, so it really was still Lord Dazai, just with a different personality, right?
