Matsuda's Wrong Way to Start Over

A rewritten version of this book is another story:

Jinpei Matsuda (Reborn), But Nonhuman.

I've moved the starting point of the story two years later, so some details may differ. I recommend skipping this book and going straight to the one next door.

The curly-haired man wakes from a dream. Groggy, as if someone had struck him hard in the head, he staggers over to the sink.

The figure in the mirror has a shape he's never seen before: pale, thick fur, the head of a canine, a dark purple-black head and animal ears, paired with a suit that seems at odds with its beastly appearance.

Then, in the blink of an eye, he's himself again.

In the snow, he learns his name: "Jinpei Matsuda."

Matsuda is reborn, but his body seems to have been reborn before his mind.

He's the owner of a cafe called Poirot. Heaven knows why there's an astronomical amount of money in his bank account.

He also has a waiter who serves as the acting manager.

In the pitifully few memories he has of his current life, the acting manager told him a few days ago that they needed more staff and planned to hire a temporary waiter.

Now he has to come downstairs from his two-story building to meet the waiter, who is supposedly very capable.

As he drags his body downstairs, still tormented by the intense pain that hasn't stopped since he woke up, he sees a man with blond hair and brown skin chatting happily with the acting manager.

Jinpei Matsuda: ? You little shit, you couldn't find a job after graduation, so you came here to work part-time, huh?!

● The System automatically deleted my previous pen name, so I changed the story a little and posted it again (sob).

● This is a deranged work written on impulse after I finished FGO 2.6. It has out-of-character moments.

● Inspired by the fact that Jinpei Matsuda has fair skin and black hair, while Woodwose has dark skin and white hair.

● The Police Academy group will be saved, though maybe not everyone. That depends on Matsuda's luck.

● School is starting soon, so updates will be whenever I can.

● Matsuda is a trinity machine (not really).

● This book contains a lot of headcanon. Everything serves the plot (I'll do my best to keep everyone in character), so please bear with me.
