Damon Fenton is an ordinary fourteen-year-old boy. His family consists of ghost-hunting parents who spend all day developing cutting-edge technology, a socially outgoing older sister who's wise beyond her years and obsessed with psychology, and a foolish little brother who's crazy about astronomy and dreams of going to space. He spends his ordinary days getting up early to walk the dog, going to school and trying to set straight his goth-obsessed little brother number two and little brother number three, who wants to marry his phone, exercising after class, and then going home.
Jack: "I accidentally sucked our house into another dimension~"
Maddie: "Come try this energy cannon!"
Jazz: "We're all just doing what we have to do to get by."
Danny: "I thought you were my best friend, but you think of me as your little brother!?"
Sam: "You jerk, what's wrong with goth style?"
Tucker: "That hurts. We played games together since we were kids, and I'm still just your little brother."
One day, his peaceful routine was shattered. Damon died, then came back to life, only to discover that he hadn't really lived or died. He'd become a species that couldn't be defined by life and death. From then on, his life was full of trouble and the occasional world-saving mission. His awkward title kept getting longer, but with more fun battles to enjoy, Damon could learn to live with this whole new routine.
Years later, when Damon was summoned to another world...
Constantine: "What did you say? They sold the rights to my soul to whom?"
Deadman (Boston Brand): "A big shot in the spirit world!! My idol!!"

The early story focuses on Danny Phantom, featuring interesting ghosts and major events, with a heavily altered plot. Much later, the story focuses on all kinds of ghosts appearing in the DC universe.
Chapter 1's author's note has a simple explanation of the DP worldbuilding.
The Kingdom Hearts world appears briefly, but the KH main plot won't be involved.
