When Chen Xu agreed to take part in this volunteer teaching program, he never imagined that he and Shen Bian would break up.
After two months apart, Shen Bian seemed perfectly calm, holding his camera just as he always did.
Chen Xu didn't like it much, because the camera had been a big part of why they broke up, or more precisely, because Shen Bian had been too busy with work.
But Chen Xu had been the one to end things. They'd already fought about it, and now he had no right to complain. After all, they were exes.
The event went smoothly, and Chen Xu and Shen Bian worked well together.
Their conversation was polite, and their physical contact appropriate.
He thought things would end just as peacefully, but during a break, he saw the photos on Shen Bian's camera screen: a full 360-degree series of shots of him at the event.
P.S. This is a short story, really short.
