A Loyal Dog Fell from the Sky

Shao Heng was a death warrior, once belonging to the Netherworld.

People like him could pledge themselves to a master. From then on, they would draw their blades for one person alone, protect one person alone, live for one person, and die for one person, until the weapons in their hands broke to pieces and their bodies and souls were destroyed.

When he betrayed the Netherworld and was hunted down, gravely wounded and at the end of his rope, Shao Heng was found by a girl in white, who took him home.

He was fortunate enough to meet the person he wanted to serve.

But...

What if all you could bring this person was misfortune?

Someone demanded in a voice hoarse with desperation:

What if your very presence brought nothing but utter disaster?

Torrential rain battered him as Shao Heng lay helplessly on the ground, staring up at the dark, empty sky.

Then he wished he had never escaped the Netherworld, and had never met that person.

He was a death warrior. He belonged rotting in the black depths of hell.

Just as Shao Heng was about to fall into ruin, the girl in white came toward him against the light. She gripped his hand tightly and pulled him into the light, allowing no room for refusal.

"You're mine. You belong to me alone... I will never let go, and I won't let you give up!"

In short, it's the story of a rather formidable young physician who takes in a loyal dog who falls from the sky.
