Mu Yi was infamous at school as a troublemaker. Aside from his studies, there wasn't a bad thing he wouldn't do. His teachers were at their wits' end, and his classmates went out of their way to avoid him, afraid he'd set his sights on them.
Yet somehow, this very problem student slipped and ended up in a perilous otherworld.
The strange monsters, unfamiliar abilities, and unrestricted environment had Mu Yi itching to give them a try. Just as he was getting ready to show what he could do, a "friendly" classmate happened to pass by, saw him, and blurted out:
"Country bumpkin, how are you still alive?"
Before he transmigrated, Mu Yi was a problem student who gave his teachers headaches, but he was determined to make his own way in the world and achieve his dream of getting into Peking University.
After he transmigrated, he was a poor student who had stumbled into an interstellar academy, a rich young master's sidekick, scraping by from one day to the next.
Everyone assumed that the strongest contestant in this training exercise would be one of a handful of top students. That was until, in the middle of a hard-fought battle against the strongest boss, a figure suddenly charged out of the shadows: a poor boy in ragged clothes.
He was the interstellar academy president's famous lapdog, and a favorite target for rich young masters to bully.
After smashing the monster's brain crystal with a single blow, Mu Yi didn't even look at the president he had once loved but could never have when the man came over to strike up a conversation. Instead, he turned away, picked up a brain-crystal gem from the disgusting tissue inside the monster's head, and earnestly asked the instructor:
"Hello, teacher. This is so pretty. Can I trade it for money? Can I take it with me?"
Having arrived in this brand-new world and faced with a sea of unfamiliar faces, Mu Yi thought of the way his teachers and classmates used to avoid him like the plague. This time, he decided, he would be an ordinary student and absolutely would not become the talk of the school.
But his sudden change caught the president's attention. Even the young masters he'd once fawned over began treating him very differently, and a famous young major from the nation took a special interest in him.
Mu Yi thought everyone who approached him wanted to be friends, and was delighted, treating them all warmly. But they seemed to have gotten the wrong idea, and the looks they gave him grew stranger and stranger...
Before long, Mu Yi had inexplicably attracted a whole crowd of admirers who coveted him.
