A tired old premise, a common backstory. Nothing special.
She was so good at slacking off that after years in the Organization, she still hadn't earned a codename.
Then, at nineteen, a mission transfer brought Jiangkou Shixia to America, where she became Vermouth's direct subordinate and partner.
On her very first mission, the witch of a thousand faces toyed with her mercilessly. But that same night, a chance encounter with Chris Vineyard, the Hollywood star who captivated everyone, sent Jiangkou Shixia's heart racing.
Jiangkou Shixia: Oh no. I'm falling for her.
Then she found out Vermouth was Chris Vineyard.

The first time, Vermouth used their incompatibility as an excuse and transferred Jiangkou Shixia from New York back to Japan without another word.
Three years passed. When Jiangkou Shixia confessed for the second time, Vermouth remained silent for a long while, then the next day coaxed and tricked her into going back to Japan.
