In the year 196 of the New Era, the Federation's RLT-MGA1 operation has run into trouble. Following the vote of the Supreme Council, the Third Queyue Legion will be deployed to the operation.
At the same time, Zhen Yegge and Lu Jinyun will be appointed commanders of the Third Legion.
Zhen Yegge, Night Watcher sequence, FAS-S0375, codename Nidhogg
Lu Jinyun, Radiant sequence, EFS-J0243, codename Gevjon
Zhen Yegge's past record is unknown, but it is known that she suffered from severe mental illness even before becoming a Night Watcher. She is currently receiving treatment at a military hospital.
Lu Jinyun's file records three transfers and three demotions. She went from commanding a general's legion to having her rank revoked, and not a single positive word can be found in her record.
Why were these two women appointed as commanders of a general's legion at such a critical moment?
There is no answer, and no one will provide one.
The past lies buried beneath the eternal night; sins are laid to rest in the Abyss of Silence. Since that night 249 years ago, humanity has long since said goodbye to such beautiful words as peace and tranquility. Even though the Human Federation has existed for 196 years, the war has never stopped.
Glory never fades, the flame lives on. All for the future of humanity.
Let those untimely hopes be buried forever along with me.
