[Detective Conan] The Contractor, Kenji Hagiwara

Kenji Hagiwara was once a contractor, and now he's a doll.

He has clearly forgotten why he never paid the price back then, and now there's no way he could remember, either.

All he knows is that in a world where only he disappeared, his friends all got perfect endings.

Everyone avoided their original points of death. Everyone except him.

Maybe becoming what he is now was the price he had to pay.

But then, one day, his mind seemed to become clear again.

Some of the emotions and free will he had lost seemed to return.

A voice kept asking him, "Do you want to become a normal person?"

Yes. How could Hagi-chan not want that?

You've done so well. Go on, return to an ordinary life and start a new one.

So that's how it was. Hagi-chan remembers now. The price he paid was losing the name "Kenji Hagiwara."

P.S.:

This idea came to me on a whim.

Since it includes my own headcanons, there will definitely be some OOC characterization.

The main story is told in third person.

I'll decide on a pairing later. It's most likely Gin.

Theme: I want Hagi to be doted on by everyone
