The world where Fuyuzuki Kaede lives is frequently attacked by monsters. When an entire city is reduced to ruins, the world resets like a game, completing its destruction and reconstruction in an instant. In the rebuilt world, people lose their memories of the disaster.
Fuyuzuki Kaede is like a bug in the game. It seems the world has forgotten her: she can’t die, and she doesn’t lose her memories... But getting slashed still hurts!

Fuyuzuki Kaede saves up to buy a weapon, then walks into a dojo, determined to learn. From then on, she leads a life of slacking off at school and fighting monsters for dear life during the apocalypse.
Fuyuzuki Kaede and a fox gentleman in red-and-white armor crouch in a narrow space formed by collapsed steel beams. The fox gentleman looks up at the enormous, eerie monster in the sky and teases her in a remarkably casual tone: “Hey, kid, it’s the end of the world. Scared?”
Fuyuzuki Kaede calmly shakes her head. “No. It’s not like this is my first time.”
