I somehow wound up in another world and was forced to become a follower of some famous, unnamed evil god. Thus began my diligent life of spreading the faith.
And my biggest problem with this missionary life is probably...
Why am I using the character sheet from a tabletop RPG I played years ago as my identity for spreading the faith?!
The character I made for laughs while playing with my regular group came back like a boomerang, hitting me squarely in the middle of my missionary work.
From an amnesiac, mentally impaired psychiatric patient to a pretty-boy celebrity with a mountain of scandals, there's an assassin from the Middle East in the distance and a widowed woman nearby, not to mention that more than half of them are criminals.
Thanks to my softhearted game master going easy on me, I ended up with all kinds of bizarre characters. And now I've got a game master in another world who tears up character sheets at the drop of a hat. I'm doomed! If I get another life, I'll make my characters properly and absolutely won't pull any stunts!
And as my missionary work progresses, the world seems to be getting more dangerous too! Is this damned scenario, with its absurdly high LOST rate, really still suitable for people to play?!
At this point, I'd rather run away than play.
*Although this involves TRPGs, the Call of Cthulhu content is minimal. The evil god in the setting is original, and there are only a few Cthulhu-related elements.
*The early chapters are slice of life; later on, it incorporates high-powered anime series.
*The main text switches between first and third person. The player character's perspective is in first person, while the PC's perspective switches to third person.
*I haven't decided whether this will be romance or no CP, so for now I've tagged it as romance. It may become no CP later, so proceed with caution if that bothers you.
Theme: Grow and improve through adversity.
