Falling in Love on a Variety Show

Cool, aloof Iceberg Actress x Scandal-Plagued Green Tea Rising Star

Blurb:

The announcement of a reality show about acting set the whole internet abuzz. The reason was two guests on the show who seemed to occupy the same niche:

Jiang An and Shi Zaozao.

Jiang An won the title of youngest Best Actress in history with her latest film, and her popularity has only continued to rise.

At just 23, she has already been acting for 13 years. Her extensive experience and naturally melancholy face, perfectly suited to the big screen, have earned her the public's recognition.

Opposite her is Shi Zaozao, a newcomer with no formal training who is still in college. She was nominated for Best Actress for a youth romance film, becoming the youngest nominee ever.

Rumor has it she pressured her male co-star into making their fake romance real on set. She's supposedly a stupid, empty-headed pretty face who can only recite her lines.

She has even repeatedly used Jiang An as a foil, promoting herself with the slogan "youngest Best Actress," which has earned the disdain of most netizens.

The production team of A Sure Thing invited mostly young actors and entertainers, and asked everyone to freely form pairs for their performances.

It was clearly a dating show disguised as an acting program. During the first round of choosing partners, Jiang An and Shi Zaozao found themselves matched with the same genre and the same guest.

Just as everyone focused on how the male guest would choose, the two women joined forces to kick him out and pair up with each other.

Netizens: Wait, this isn't how the plot is supposed to go! Why would Jiang An team up with a publicity-seeking star?

Jiang An said with an indifferent expression, "I think I'm better suited to act with Shi Zaozao."

During their scene, Shi Zaozao gazed into Jiang An's eyes with tears in hers. "Sis, can you kiss me?"

But instead of saying the scripted line, "I'm sorry," Jiang An gently wiped away the tear at the corner of Shi Zaozao's eye. "Sure."

Netizens: So it turns out I don't hate green tea. I just hate it when she's not acting that way toward me.

Netizens: What green tea? She's clearly my thoughtful little sister.

The show had been filming for less than a month when photos of Shi Zaozao and Jiang An holding hands as they entered and left a restaurant for couples trended online. Netizens suspected it was yet another publicity stunt by Shi Zaozao.

Shi Zaozao flew to another city to livestream promotions for her new film. After work, she was chatting with fans on a livestream and saying goodbye when she received a phone call.

Netizens, eager for the drama: It's so late. If she doesn't answer, she must be hiding something!

The voice on the other end belonged to Jiang An, who had used feeling unwell as an excuse to skip the evening entertainment during filming and return to her room to rest.

The usually cool and distant Jiang An spoke in a soft, sweet voice as she coquettishly said:

"Wifey, I miss you so much."

And so the whole internet began shipping this real-life couple.

Green tea and iceberg? They're obviously a sweet girl and her doting wife!
