Yu Dongbai, a Chinese American, has a secret: ever since his parents gave birth to him in Providence, New England, he has dreamed of a beautiful city every night. There, the sun always hangs low in the western sky, casting an orange-red glow over the entire city and making it breathtakingly beautiful.
But when he was ten, a man named Randolph Carter drove him out of that dream city at sunset. He told Yu Dongbai, "This is the Dreamlands. You have to use the power of your mind to create your own city."
Later, Yu Dongbai built the city of his dreams out of soccer.
A work inspired by the film Goal!, with a few Lovecraftian elements. Overall, it's a soccer story, with the other elements there to add to the plot.
The protagonist is a doctor, not a player, so please be cautious before diving in. The romance is undecided and will depend on the main plot. There will most likely be more than one love interest.
Theme: Passion builds dreams
