[I accidentally hit publish on the draft I'd quietly saved for my upcoming novel... I'm planning to open a short story next door, around 100,000 characters long, titled After My Ex-Boyfriend Returned Home, My Wife Wanted a Divorce (Top's POV). It's set in an ABO world. If you're interested, take a look at the blurb next door, and add it to your favorites if you like it! Thanks!]
Xie Yu transmigrated. On the first day, he received one piece of bad news and one piece of good news.
The bad news was that "he" had been rejected after confessing that morning. In front of the male, female, and androgynous insectoids at the Imperial Military Academy, Abian turned him down with a coy smile, then threw himself into the arms of Xie Yu's roommate, a B-rank male insectoid. The good news was that after waking up in the hospital, Xie Yu received a marriage-matching request on his wrist terminal. In his confusion, not understanding what was going on, he accidentally accepted. And the female insectoid who'd sent the request was none other than the Empire's War God and national idol, Lieutenant General Lannuo!
Well... Hesitating for even one second would be disrespectful to all those digits in Lannuo's Starcoin account. Xie Yu happily latched onto Lannuo and prepared to enjoy the rest of his life in comfort.
After returning from the battlefield, Lannuo spent a month in a recovery pod while his injured wings healed. The moment he stepped out, he received a forced match notification on his wrist terminal.
Remembering the wings that had been forcibly cut off and the dark, frigid cell... Lannuo closed his eyes. If doing it all over again meant repeating everything, he didn't mind risking exile to refuse the System's match. But when he saw a new name appear in the system, his finger hesitated over the wrist terminal.
In short, this is a sweet little story about two insectoids who each think they've landed an incredible bargain, then learn how to fall in love through a few stumbles along the way.
Kisses~ (mwah) Please add it to your favorites if you're interested!
1. Top's POV, 1v1, happy ending.
2. Updates resume July 11 (following the ranking schedule).
3. I may occasionally revise the text (and patch some earlier plot holes).
3. Additional content warning: Before being reborn, the bottom had been married for a year. The side couple's early chapters include elements of forced love (they don't appear often, so please skip if you're uncomfortable). The setting includes many original worldbuilding details. I'll add further content warnings if needed later. Please just read for fun. I'm really, really sorry if anything offends you! Just click the X in the upper right and move on.
There are only three upcoming novels on my author page (all from the top's POV). Please add the ones you're interested in to your favorites. I'll publish them one by one.
After the Breakup, My Ex-Boyfriend Became My Coworker: A second-chance romance, with a stubborn but soft-hearted tsundere top x a sweet-seeming, dark-hearted bottom who's great at acting obedient.
I Pretended to Be Human and Fell in Love with My Boss: Another story about a different "Xie Yu." A transmigrated, naive-and-sweet male insectoid top x a domineering CEO bottom who's all tough talk and secretly childish.
Did the Host Fill in the Plot Holes Today? (Quick Transmigration): An episodic novel about a plot-hole-filling System that binds to authors who've abandoned their novels, taking them into the worlds of their stories to give the protagonists happiness. (Currently planned settings include esports and the supernatural...)
Theme: Life is hard, so work hard and keep fighting.
Deputy CP, does it account for a large proportion... Hao Lei, this kind of forced love, or be
Lian Xi finally appeared. Just now I was wondering who Yi Lair was? It turns out to be the emperor, that silver-haired beauty
Although but... Forced hobby is disgusting
I strongly recommend reading a separate cp book
Why don't you write a separate copy for your deputy cp?
Can this ending be the beginning of a domineering insect king falling in love? I really like this kind of play.
Hahaha, I did wear it as expected, but I hope the proportion of sub-CP emotional drama will not be too much. I like to watch sweet love.
Looking at the next two chapters, it's like me looking at the heroine of the romance. She's not successful enough, but she's more likely to fail, so she likes to find things for her other half to do.
