From Lillian's perspective
Lillian never imagined that Winter, the knight commander who was the strongest fighter around and a dual practitioner of magic and martial arts, would turn out to be a fragile knight who couldn't heal himself. Having sworn never to be a doctor again, Lillian is forced to fall back on her old profession time and time again.
The first time the necromancer attacks, Lillian rushes to stop Winter's bleeding.
The second time, after Winter is stabbed by someone who might be a former crush, Lillian has to stitch him up.
The third time, Lillian charges forward with her shield. "Stop stabbing him in the right side of the abdomen! Anywhere else is fine! I refuse to stitch up the same spot three times!"
From Winter's perspective
Winter thinks the new recruit assigned to him is loud and weak, like a gray squirrel hopping all over the place. Her only redeeming quality is that she used to be a doctor. But when the gray squirrel threatens to stop treating him, he doesn't care in the least. "Then I'll just wait for the Holy Priest to arrive."
Back then, he never would have imagined he'd one day be whining in bed, asking the same three questions over and over:
"I have food poisoning, and you still want to go on a date with that guy?"
"My head hurts. Do you regret it? When are you going to break up with him?"
"I feel like my heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys are all failing. Doctor, why haven't you broken up with him and come home yet?"
