Weary, Ye Xiaomei opens her eyes and realizes she's sitting on the living room sofa. Dazed, she moves her foot a little. It's still there. Did she... come back?
The next moment--
3320: "Hi, Xiaomei! I'm your golden finger System. I can give you special abilities to help you make your wish come true!"
Ye Xiaomei gazes at the gently smiling young man in a suit before her, her eyes turning red. Yes, she's back.
Ye Xiaomei is the villainess in a CEO romance novel. After 3320 appeared, she thought she could make the male lead fall in love with her. In the end, she lost both her legs and died young.
Only in the moment before her heart stopped did she suddenly realize that the love she'd pursued all her life had been right by her side all along. That gentle, accepting "System," that boy who wept at her funeral... She'd already been unable to live without him, hadn't she?
Luckily, Heaven has given her another chance to cherish him.
She looks at 3320, overcome with relief and joy, but hears him say:
"Don't worry. I'll leave after I grant your wish, Xiaomei."
Ye Xiaomei's heart twists in pain. His words echo the memories in her mind...
No. This time, she's going to make him hers!

Jiang Sa invests in a TV series. One day, with nothing better to do, he picks up the original novel and is drawn to one of the female side characters.
She's positive and optimistic, cheerful and outgoing, and willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She reminds Jiang Sa of his former self.
As if by some kind of magic, that character lingers in his thoughts and keeps appearing in his dreams for several days in a row.
He opens the novel again, only to find that she meets a lonely, untimely end...
For some inexplicable reason, he wants to rewrite her ending, or at least make her a little happier.
