Soul Reaper [The Supernatural]

[Please hurry and give me a favorite!]

Overpowered female lead VS frail ancestor carrying a scythe

The sect is so poor it doesn't even have matching uniforms. As the sect's senior disciple, Yu Chan feels it's her duty to lead everyone to prosperity.

But the sect rules that ghost-catching must be done for free.

If a Taoist priest can't get rich catching ghosts, how else can they do it?

By performing on the street?

Of course not. They can collect protection money!

Ten coins per ghost, that's a lot of money.

Her junior brothers and sisters tremble. "Senior Sister, aren't we supposed to catch ghosts?"

Yu Chan immediately summons the Soul-Calling Banner. In an instant, the sky darkens and the clouds shift.

"My Soul-Calling Banner only takes in the most evil ghosts in the world."

So what's wrong with charging weak ghosts a little protection money?

Yu Chan is the heir to the Soul-Calling Banner, and has known her mission since birth:

To capture the spirits that cling to life across the world, and destroy every evil soul beneath the heavens.

She has always believed in getting straight to the point. If she can solve a problem with her fists, she never wastes time reasoning with a ghost.

As a result, there aren't enough ghosts nearby for her to beat up. To find more ghosts to smash, she decides to leave home and venture out into the world.

The wicked ghosts of the underworld have all heard of Yu Chan's fearsome reputation, so they decide to pay their way out of trouble.

"A wicked ghost?"

"Yes, yes."

"A wicked ghost costs one million taels."

The ghosts lining up with ten coins in hand are all baffled. Before they know it, they've been sucked into the Soul-Calling Banner.

Wait, that's not what people said would happen!
