Jiang Ze had only recently moved in when, one morning on his way to work, he happened to run into his neighbor taking out the trash.
Grateful to Jiang Ze for bringing him home the day before, his neighbor mustered up the courage to softly ask if he would like to have breakfast before work. Before he could finish, his face and ears had turned completely red. Jiang Ze checked the time and declined.
But the next day, his socially anxious neighbor wouldn't give up. Just as Jiang Ze locked his door and was about to take the elevator, he noticed the door across the hall open a crack. A fluffy head poked out and asked, “Dr. Jiang, have you eaten breakfast? Would you like to come over and have some?”
After that, Dr. Jiang was invited to his little neighbor's place for breakfast every day.
Until one day...
