The Years I Lost My Memory

Arranged marriage to true love | The husband pursues his wife after losing her

Xiao Shaojin is the only female prince in the current dynasty, the renowned Prince of Zhennan.

After being injured in an accident and losing her memory, she is mistaken for someone else and brought into the palace.

At the palace banquet, she stands uneasily in hastily donned finery beneath the contemptuous gazes of those around her. Then she sees a man in blue walking toward her beneath the moonlight, his wide sleeves flowing. He is as radiant as the moon, his presence as cool and distant as mist.

Pointing at her, the Emperor says, "Her father once saved your life. Shall I grant her to you?"

Her heart pounds like a drum as she steals a glance at him.

Prince Yong'an Zhao Ruhong doesn't even lift his eyelids. His thin lips part, not a trace of a smile on his face. "I gladly accept Father Emperor's kind offer."

Uneasy, she is sent to his bridal chamber.

After their marriage is consummated on the first night, he gets up and puts on his clothes without sparing her a glance.

She had thought that now they had become husband and wife in name and deed, he would at least care for her a little.

But then she hears him speaking of her to someone else, his tone icy: "She's only here because Father Emperor bestowed her on me. I had no choice."

Zhao Shihong, Prince Yong'an, is peerlessly handsome, with no equal beneath the heavens.

At the palace banquet, he sees her appear in ill-fitting finery, looking flustered and ridiculous.

Forced to bring her into his estate, he coldly watches as everyone picks on her and turns her into a laughingstock.

Until she disappears on a snowy night.

Zhao Shihong's world crumbles completely.

Years later, the Prince of Zhennan returns to the capital, and he receives her on the Emperor's behalf.

But he sees a woman on horseback, spirited and stunning, her fiery red robes streaming in the wind.

Seeing the long-missed face, Prince Yong'an stumbles forward and grabs the hem of her robe. "Shaoshao, I've searched for you for years."

All he gets in reply is a bloodstained blade!
