Synopsis
Lu Qi was famous for her rebellious, unruly temper. Finally, after her homeroom teacher called her parents yet again, Ms. Lu had had enough. She joined forces with the whole family to give Lu Qi a serious ideological reeducation. So Lu Qi was forced to sit alone on the sofa and listen as her family catalogued all the "crimes" she had committed over the years:
"When she was three, she shaved Grandpa's hair into a horseshoe-shaped bald spot, and the old man chased her out of his hometown." Lu's dad was the first to speak, rather enthusiastically.
"When she was five, she talked her six-year-old sister and four-year-old cousin into going on a spontaneous trip. Then she tricked them into going to Auntie's house, ran home by herself, ate the last of the cake, and only then called Auntie to say she'd gone home first." Her sister, who remembered the incident vividly, picked up the story.
"When she was ten, she led a bunch of kids into a fight with another bunch of kids. She even recruited the family Alaskan Malamute as an accomplice. Afterward, she refused to admit she'd done anything wrong and even declared that the Beast Hunter team would never lose." Her cousin, who had come to watch the show, laughed.
"So we've unanimously decided to revoke your permission to come home. When your first year of high school starts, you'll be living at school." Out of sight, out of mind. It would be best to let the school wear her down.
"Oh my god, how can you punish me today for things I did in the past? That's so unfair. I, Lu Qi, formally object! Don't let me hear such unreasonable nonsense again." Lu Qi lounged there, taking none of it seriously.
In the end, standing with her suitcase in front of a private high school, Lu Qi badly wanted a cigarette and to sigh at the heavens over life's unpredictable twists.

Ru Fan had been spoiled since childhood. He disliked solving problems with force, and liked it even less when anyone used force against him. Unfortunately, on the first day of his first year of high school, he encountered a hot-tempered girl in his new class. Ru Fan secretly disapproved of her, never expecting fate to enjoy playing tricks on people. Two people with completely different personalities ended up as deskmates.
Ru Fan then discovered that she wasn't just strong. She was incredibly clever, too. That was the last straw for him. What was he supposed to do when the person he looked down on was better than him at everything? Obviously, he had to surpass her, even if only in one area.
After making such an ambitious vow, Ru Fan threw away his pride and set aside his embarrassment, beginning his studies under his deskmate. Whatever he didn't understand, he'd ask her. Deskmate, report for duty!
But what should he do when his heart raced every time he spoke to her? Ru Fan thought it over and realized he really had fallen for her. In that case, he should make the first move. Bringing his beautiful deskmate home and starting a romantic relationship seemed like a pretty good plan.
