Also known as: Friends and family all over the heavens; the transformation of a pretty face with connections
The protagonist has many secret identities and can be either male or female. They're a magnet for admirers, but they're focused on keeping the peace and saving all living beings, so only the supporting characters fall in love with them. The protagonist has no pairing.
Their father is Li Jing, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King; their younger brother is Nezha, the Demon-Subduing Deity; and their friend Yang Jian is Heaven's number-one God of War. Their great-grandmaster is the Primordial Heavenly Lord, and their masters are the Perfected Puxian and Bodhisattva Guanyin.
Looking at their illustrious friends and family, Mu Zha rubbed his back, which his younger brother had injured. "I've actually become the kind of person I used to hate most: a beautiful, useless nepo baby."
He was knocked unconscious by Nezha's teenage self-harm, witnessed Jiang Ziya lead an army to overthrow the Shang, worried himself sick over Yang Jian's family troubles, lived through Sun Wukong's havoc in Heaven, and was the awkward third wheel in the romance between Jin Zha and a princess of Heaven.
Always caught in the eye of the storm, Mu Zha could only say: "I'm so exhausted."
Forced to juggle multiple roles, Mu Zha successfully transformed from a pretty-face prop into an expert peacemaker. He followed Heaven's will and did good deeds, gradually earning the power of popular belief without even realizing it.
The story features a range of mythologies, including the Primordial World, Investiture of the Gods, Lotus Lantern, Journey to the West, Seven Fairies, and Dongyouji.
