Xu Ran, a CEO devoted to charity, was killed by someone he had supported for years. Only then did he learn that he was a powerful cannon-fodder character in a novel, and that the person who killed him was the protagonist.
The System told him, "If you want to live, keep going to other novel worlds and helping other protagonists out of poverty."

The hidden blade finally revealed, the powerful figure looked at him with a determined gaze. Casting aside his usual composure, he cornered Xu Ran with nowhere left to run. "You're so good to him, dropping everything just to look after him. I won't allow it."
