Indulging in Love After Marriage

Yu Chu catches her boyfriend cheating and has her phone snatched away.

Her boyfriend says, "Chu-Chu, be good, and we can still stay together."

Rain pours down in sheets. She slumps by the roadside, battered and washed over by the rain.

Fu Anyu stops in front of her, holding a black umbrella. As if he can't see how miserable she looks, he asks in a deep, gentle voice, "Want to get in the car and get out of the rain for a while?"

Yu Chu gets into his car and stays there until late into the night.

Fu Anyu has been a legend in the film and television industry ever since his debut, winning award after award. On top of that, he has a face worthy of a top model and phenomenal acting skills. Online, fans routinely swoon over his model-like figure.

He's naturally cold and aloof, and apart from acting, he never takes on any other work. Almost everything circulating online is a still from one of his dramas, and he's never had a single dating scandal since his debut.

Entertainment reporters refuse to give up. They follow him and take covert photos every day, producing plenty of pictures with an irresistible atmosphere along the way.

Someone like him and Yu Chu are destined to belong to different worlds.

And yet, there he is at her blind date.

Yu Chu stares at his ethereally beautiful, aloof face, blushing with embarrassment.

The impulse of that night is still vivid in her mind.

She can only mechanically recite the lines she prepared. "After we get married, we won't live together. We'll split all expenses fifty-fifty. You're an actor, so we don't have to make our relationship public. I know there's someone you like. If you two still have a chance, I can divorce you right away."

Fu Anyu strokes the red cord around his wrist, a hint of barely perceptible desire in his dark eyes. "We'll live together, and we'll make it public. Once we're married, I won't divorce you."

Perhaps he thinks he sounds too forceful, because he adds slowly, "Your family has already looked into me. Ask me anything you'd like to know. I can wait for you."

As if possessed, Yu Chu takes him to the Civil Affairs Bureau that very day.

After they get their marriage certificate, Yu Chu catches Fu Anyu looking down at his phone. He types, then deletes, acting cautious and serious.

Then she sees his post announcing their marriage certificate:

Fu Anyu V: Blind date success.

Yu Chu: ...

Fu Anyu, who has never appeared on a variety show, shows up in the preview for a marriage-themed reality show...

At first, viewers say, "I'd rather eat shit than accept a crumb of sweetness from the Double Fish CP." Before long, they're saying, "Bring the Double Fish CP a bed!"

The heart-rate competition has barely begun when viewers bet that Fu Anyu will win.

But the next second, the monitor beeps loudly across the set.

Fu Anyu calmly takes off his fitness tracker. "I lost."

Viewers: What happened???

Then the camera turns to Yu Chu: skin as white as snow, lips like peach blossoms, so beautiful she doesn't look real.

The viewers get it in an instant: They're shipping them.
