The Qing Dynasty's Beloved Little Jade Rabbit

A little jade rabbit transmigrates into the body of Hong Yan, the legitimate son of Fourth Prince Yin Zhen, a person who never existed in history.

The little jade rabbit is a little worried. He knows what fate awaits everyone here, but has no idea what awaits him.

But looking at his gentle, virtuous mother, who cherishes him like her own heart, and his seemingly aloof father, who secretly tucks in his blankets, the little jade rabbit decides: What is there to worry about? Being a human toddler is great!

At his first-birthday grab ceremony, the little jade rabbit meets his brothers: Hong Shi, shunned for being close to the Eighth Prince; Qian Xiao Si, who loves stamping everything; and Hong Zhou, who enjoys arranging his own funeral.

The little jade rabbit can't help covering his face. What are these attention-seekers?

From then on, the little jade rabbit decides to start while they're young and steer his brothers back onto the right path. But what happens later isn't quite what he expected.

Little scenes:

Hong Shi: Sixth Brother, if anyone bullies you, tell Third Brother. I'll get even with them for you.

Hong Yan looks at the simple-minded Hong Shi, unconvinced.

Qian Xiao Si: Sixth Brother, you've started your studies. Fourth Brother will teach you to read from now on.

Hong Yan: No need, really.

Hong Zhou: What's so fun about studying? Sixth Brother, how about Fifth Brother takes you out to play through a dog hole?

Hong Yan: What if I'm kind of tempted?

Reading guide:
