The Ten Shadows Technique is the inherited art of the Zenin family.
But after a thousand years of passing it down, something went a little awry with a child who had been cast out.
Four-year-old Megumi, besides his two Divine Dogs, also got a mysterious Shadow Card Pool.
A few crooked lines were pasted on it:
[Want to experience a different life? Want to find family and friendship?]
[Legendary SSR card, free with your first draw!]
Megumi, who only understood some of the words: Free? What's free?
Megumi discovers that his cards can possess shikigami and summon humanoid allies.
And raising a card's star rank grants it more powerful skills.
+
The first free SSR card is called wtw.
One-star: Little Gojo has his hands tucked into his sleeves, with the fluffy tail of a Divine Dog trailing behind him. Without changing expression, he eats all the sweets in the house.
Two-star: Student Gojo is tall and burly, with adorable rabbit ears. He makes Megumi's chubby baby face even rounder.
Three-star: Blindfolded Gojo scams people for food and drink, then spends all the money little Megumi had saved from his first job on enough Kikufuku to fill a room.
Four-star... Megumi refuses to raise this card to four stars.
+
The second hard-to-draw SSR card is called xyj.
One-star: Little Suguru is an angelic trainer, with fluffy black dog ears, and takes Megumi around to exorcise curses.
Two-star: Student Geto is a dependable sorcerer. Flapping Nue's huge wings, he teams up with Megumi to defeat a special-grade curse.
Three-star: Cult Leader Geto keeps smiling as he declares that he will kill all the foolish monkeys present.
Megumi, who invested a fortune only to raise a black card: "?"
+
The third hard-to-draw SSR card is also surnamed Fushiguro.
One-star: The young tyrant stares expressionlessly into Megumi's equally impassive eyes.
Toji: Who are you?
Megumi: I'm your dad.
++
Megumi gives up on all the SSR cards.
His card pool is way too strange. Only ordinary bronze and silver cards can give him a little comfort.
Yuji: [Boba eyes.jpg]
Nobara: Hmph, men.

1. No romantic pairing, mutual redemption, happy ending
2. Mainly Jujutsu Kaisen, crossed over with Ito Story Collection
3. Second-run Megumi has lost his memories. Family love, friendship, and bonds between teacher and student. None of the cards are secret identities; they are all the actual people from the second run.
4. If all the above sounds good, please add it to your want-to-read list =w= ↑↑↑
