Nan Ruoyan transmigrates into a book, an old-school domineering-CEO novel. She's neither the heroine nor the second female lead, but a lackey to the wicked female supporting character.
As a mere plot device, she gets bound to a gossip-eating System and has to follow the plot and uncover all the secrets in the book.

The heroine and the others freeze. In the end, they launch into a heated discussion about the question.
To get her fill of gossip and make sure the plot goes as planned, Nan Ruoyan applies to be the CEO's assistant.

A monthly salary of 88,000, weekends and holidays off, and full social insurance and housing fund benefits.
A few months after starting the job, she takes the CEO's private elevator, presses the button for the 888th floor, puts on an oxygen mask, and arrives at his office.
The CEO's office is 666 square meters. Nan Ruoyan makes her way past the tigers and sharks he keeps, arriving safely at the CEO's 99-meter-long desk.
"Find out everything about this man within three minutes."
The domineering CEO doesn't look at her. He simply hands her a photograph, his gaze carrying one part curiosity, two parts jealousy, three parts nonchalance, and four parts indifference.
Nan Ruoyan takes a look. Isn't that the villainous second male lead who'll compete with the male lead for the heroine in the story?!
