How to Avoid Becoming a Witch in the Detective Conan World

[Written for love, updated irregularly. If updates suddenly become regular, it's purely by accident.] [This is a story about Red Faction Shimotsuki, set in another timeline. You don't need to have read the Black Shimotsuki story to enjoy it... (dead serious). After writing two Red Faction stories, I've gotten a bit of a feel for Neutral Good and Chaotic Good (?). Of course she'd avoid using magic if she could. Was she supposed to count on that incubator? After barely escaping with her life, she hadn't even figured out who the familiar-looking blonde woman behind her was when her vision went black, then bright again. She had suddenly appeared in a bright, warm room. ...Wait, what did that little kid just say? His name is Shinichi Kudo??? Kyubey! Don't perch on the young Grim Reaper's head while talking to me!! - The audience below waved their green glow sticks in unison: "You are Tsukiyo." The woman with long, wavy chestnut hair winked playfully. "You are Utami Kudo." The short-haired tomboy grinned, showing her canine tooth. "You are Utami Akai." The alluring woman with golden waves blew on the barrel of her gun. "You are Shimotsuki Yuki." The cool, silver-haired assassin showed no emotion. "You are White Feather Wine." The green-eyed girl in the mirror abruptly changed from cool and aloof to bright and smiling, as if she were an entirely different person. She traced a sentence on the fogged-up glass with her finger: "You are only Shimotsuki." - --(Playful blurb: Shimoryo Tsukikage version)-- My name is Shimotsuki, I'm seventeen, and I live in... Sorry, I can't remember my old home anymore. Let me introduce myself again. My name is Shimotsuki, I'm seventeen, and I used to live in a villa district in southeastern Kanagawa Prefecture. I'm unmarried. I once transferred to a private high school in Kanagawa for certain reasons. School lets out at three thirty every afternoon. Sometimes I don't come home until dawn, but I'm always at school on time the next day. I often skip meals and sleep. Every night, I wander the city hunting Witches. My doctor says it's a miracle I haven't dropped dead. The one beside me is Kyubey, whose real name is Incubator. It belongs to some kind of intergalactic pyramid scheme. Since it can't lie, I occasionally blow up a few Kyubeys to improve my mood. If you ask, "What do those two things have to do with each other?" I'll answer: How many magical girls stay sane to the very end? ...I only want to say that I don't ask for much. I just want to live peacefully with my parents, my little brother, and "myself." I hate keeping score, winning, and losing the most, because all they bring me is trouble and enemies. I'm an easily satisfied person. That's my outlook on life. But if someone insists on targeting me, I absolutely will not lose. [Note]: The Witch in the title refers to the Witches in the Madoka Magica universe, not Koizumi Akako. 1. Can Shimotsuki really become popular...? (deep in thought) To avoid confusion, Red Shimotsuki will be called "White Feather." Essentially, like Rkatsiteli, it refers to white wine. 2. The story's general principle is probably: if someone can be saved, save them; if not, create the conditions to try. 3. There is a malevolent world consciousness. 4. Shimotsuki's original values became slightly (emphasis on slightly) warped in the Madoka Magica world, but we'll see if they can be straightened out again (?). 5. She probably won't use a secret identity, but that doesn't stop Shimotsuki from turning into an onion (?). 6.
