The False Immortal of Qiongbi Peak

I'm the hardest-working sword cultivator in Nandou Continent, living on the most desolate mountain in the region.

Thanks to my master, I had to raise my younger fellow disciples from childhood, making ends meet on our own.

Other people's masters summon the wind and rain. Mine hides indoors when it rains.

Other people's masters soar through the clouds. Mine gets lost whenever he leaves the house.

My master is handsome, well-built, and senior in rank. He's perfect as a mascot, but as a teacher, he only gives his disciples headaches.

But even a dead tree can bear immortal flowers and spirit fruits in my hands. I make a living by drawing beautiful portraits based on my master's face, keeping our little household on Qiongbi Peak afloat.

Years flow by, like water running east.

Then I draw the famous sword Yue Ku from the Infernal Fire Prison, and all I want is to head down the mountain and see the vast world for myself.

My master grins like a pest. He says the mortal world is full of suffering, but I refuse to believe it.

Ride a vermilion luan to the blue sky, break through the mortal world and seek the immortal path.

Laugh in the face of life and death.

No road through the clouds, no bridge over the waters. The youth of today will be old tomorrow.

Heaven's will is a blade that shows no mercy.
