Our Marriage Pact Still Stands

Zhou Chumeng took the family betrothal token to City A to find Liang Boli. By then, her family had all died in an accident, leaving her alone in the world.

The day they met, she stood outside his company building and watched him emerge from the skyscraper, impeccably dressed in a suit and surrounded by a crowd of elite professionals. In that instant, she heard her heart pounding wildly.

She called out to Liang Boli and solemnly handed him the betrothal token. All she got in return was a gentle yet cool reply: "Let's forget the engagement. But I can look after you as your older brother."

Zhou Chumeng thought it over all night and agreed to his proposal.

During her junior year, a handsome, sunny young man pursued Zhou Chumeng. She liked him too, and was just about to say yes when Liang Boli dropped to his knees in front of her. "Please don't say yes to him."

Zhou Chumeng: "But I like him. Why can't I say yes?"

Liang Boli: "We're still engaged."

Zhou Chumeng: "You said the engagement didn't count."

Liang Boli: "Did I say that?"

Zhou Chumeng silently tapped the recording button on her phone. Liang Boli's voice played back: "Let's forget the engagement. But I can look after you as your older brother."

Liang Boli: "..."

Then one day, hoping to make Zhou Chumeng look his way again, Liang Boli personally wrapped himself up and delivered himself to her bed.
