★ Unrestrained, rebellious actor gong vs. straight male shou who's a total drama addict
Xun Hua is famous in the industry for being obsessed with acting. He cares about nothing except his roles. When someone steals a movie role from him, he gets drunk, wakes up, and finds himself in the body of his counterpart in a parallel world.
He goes from a third-rate actor to a penniless extra drifting around Hengdian.
From the start, all he has is a hundred yuan and a run-down room.
After finally landing an acting gig and getting a few lines, he's sent to compete on a boy-band survival show.
He plans to drop out halfway through, but things don't go according to plan, and he ends up debuting in a group.
·
His teammates are warm and friendly, and his senior colleagues are nice to him. That's what Xun Hua thinks at first. Later, he realizes how naive he was.
His wolfdog teammate gets handsy under the pretext of being close; an award-winning actor who claims they're rehearsing a scene uses it as an excuse to get intimate; even a new friend from outside the industry starts looking at him strangely.
Xun Hua: Huh? Is something not quite right here???
He repeatedly makes it clear and hints that he's straight, but it does no good. Things only get worse.
So Xun Hua throws himself into one acting project after another. He enjoys it, anyway.
One step at a time, he rises from an unknown extra in Hengdian to a Grand Slam-winning actor, and then to a global superstar.
[Before You Read]:
1. A feel-good, everyone-loves-him story with a harem rivalry and lots of male characters, including competing suitors.
2. The protagonist is a total straight guy at first. Romance doesn't even register in his brain. He's surrounded by one-sided crushes, but only responds to the gong.
3. The protagonist has psychological issues and is far from perfect. He's obsessed with acting, mad for it, and will happily bash his head against a wall for it.
★ The Supporting-Role School Doctor, but This Is a Messy American College Romance
Sen Lin transmigrates into a melodramatic American TV series set at a college in the 1990s.
One-night stands, love triangles, amnesia, fraternities, discrimination and bullying... A decadent, over-the-top story, an elite university divided by class, and a drama-filled plot of love and hate.
As for Sen Lin's role, he's an Asian campus doctor who used connections to get into the university, a minor supporting character whose purpose is to show off the male lead's charm.
After the male lead rejects his confession, he boldly drugs him and takes photos to threaten him into dating. In the end, he infuriates the male lead and earns himself a one-way ticket to prison.
And who is the male lead? Theo Tobias, heir to an old-money family standing at the peak of power.
At the moment, Sen Lin has two tasks: confess to the male lead, then drug and photograph him. After that, he can happily go to prison!
Only an idiot would do that!
But... Sen Lin chooses to be that idiot.
·
Anyway, before the mission begins, Sen Lin lives a peaceful life as a campus doctor.
But that peaceful life is soon disrupted.
Looking at the injured man, Sen Lin's compassion gets the better of him. "You can hide here. Don't make a sound."
The tall man curls up inside the cramped supply cabinet in the examination room. Through the gap in the door, he watches Sen Lin's face in silence, his gaze intent.
Only later does Sen Lin learn that the man's name is Qiu Xie, a Chinese-American mixed-race phenomenon-level physics genius.
That night, after refusing to join a fraternity, he was kidnapped and forced to undergo an initiation. He fought off more than a dozen people by himself and escaped.
Sen Lin thinks they'll never cross paths again, but events unfold in a way he never expected.
It isn't until the night before the mission begins that he discovers Theo Tobias and Qiu Xie are the same person!
*
Sen Lin completes his second task, and his threat works.
So, every night afterward, the man holds him in his arms, their breaths mingling.
Sen Lin trembles all over and turns his head aside.
"Don't get distracted." The man bends down and bites the tip of his ear.
His body instantly melts like water, and even the thought of struggling is licked away.
[Reading Guide]
1. sc, 1v1. The gong is Qiu Xie, with a size difference. A touch of everyone-loves-him: other men will like Sen Lin, but Sen Lin only responds to Qiu Xie.
2. A melodramatic American college setting and an over-the-top plot. No prison time; this is mainly about a couple falling in love.
3. This is not a realistic depiction of America. No real-life people or names appear, so please don't connect it to reality.
Theme: Read widely, take only what is useful, accumulate knowledge, and let it flourish
I want to see the name of the foreign guy he played later? It's that Hollywood movie
Is it possible to spread sugar in public on variety shows?
I want the actor to be the main palace emmmmm
What's nice is that Yu Feng's favor hasn't been repaid yet, baby?
These guys are all so greasy + inexplicable, not as beautiful as the main character alone
Ah, that foreign movie at the back is no longer made, why is it gone?
I feel like there are still a lot of pitfalls that haven't been written out.
What? This is the end, I feel a little bit reluctant to leave.
When will that supporting character be offline? It's annoying.
Update quickly, hurry up, cry (?óò?)
