Eileen's dad is a fanatic. Who else would run around a space station tens of thousands of years in the future wearing a World War II military coat and claiming to be a colonel? Still, Dad is more normal than that man who constantly changes his face, has no name, and only calls himself the Doctor.
Fine, she admits it: the little blue box that's bigger on the inside is pretty cool, much cooler than Dad's watch. Adventures across different planets, running around and meeting aliens of all colors and shapes are cool, too. But having to touch people through a layer of nanofilm, and never being able to spend too long with them, isn't so cool.
So stealing Dad's watch and time-traveling to twenty-first-century Gotham is pretty understandable, right?
A landlord with daddy issues who wears a red hood, the Joker spraying gas that makes people laugh uncontrollably, not to mention the mysterious vigilantes flying around at night. Oh, and the family of Gotham's richest man, who are inexplicably eager to welcome her. There are way more weirdos here than there are aliens.
That big blue bird on the vigilante's uniform in the neighboring city really brings out his blue eyes. Maybe she should set up a branch in Bludhaven instead?
...Uh, wait, which planet did the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse come from?
The Winchester brothers, who stumbled into this: We just found out superheroes aren't comic book characters, too!
The Doctor rushes after her, panting, and sees the space-time wall riddled with holes. He glares at a certain doting father, Jay, the fixed point in the universe.
Reading guide:
*The heroine is the colonel's daughter. She takes after her dad, meaning she's a shameless flirt who knows how to work it.
*Pairing with the Wing, happy ending.
*The timeline is a mess, all in service of the story.
*Batfamily crossover with Torchwood and Supernatural. The timeline is my own, and you don't need to have watched the shows to enjoy it.
Pre-order: [Western Crossover] The Lost Ones' Tavern
In an old alley in Wales, there's a little tavern that looks like it's about to go out of business. Sometimes the owner is an old man with a white beard; other times, he's a young man with black hair and prominent ears. Its only regular always wears a World War II military coat, and when he runs out of money, he occasionally works as a waiter, flirting with everyone in sight.
Perhaps it's the law of attraction, but this tavern often welcomes lost, confused guests who have nowhere else to go.
"We're always happy to help," the tavern owner and part-time waiter say. "After all, we have plenty of time to waste. Far too much time."

Pre-order blurb: Cultivation with Machine Learning
Fang Guanwu is an outer-sect laborer in a third-rate sect in Nanya Continent. Unfortunately, an inner-sect disciple takes her along to fish for fierce beasts. Instead, they provoke a fearsome demon. Just as she's about to be devoured, she accidentally falls into a cave and inherits a legacy:
"This art observes the mysteries of the universe and finds tools within all things, so it is called... machine learning!"
"I have taught you the climate, plants, and terrain of this place, as well as the creature's past movements. Use this art to calculate what is auspicious and what is dangerous, and you will surely make it back to your sect safely."
Feeling the strange, indecipherable writing pour into her mind, she sees black. Carefully, she says, "This disciple has no talent for learning. I haven't even managed to draw qi into my body yet. I'm afraid I'll turn into bones in this cave before I can calculate anything. Could... Senior please help me again?"
The System stays silent for a long time, then conjures a translucent screen before Fang Guanwu, covered in symbols like wriggling earthworms. "I'll give you another divine artifact, called scikit-learn. It can help you make your calculations!"
From then on, Fang Guanwu is forced to end her lie-flat life and devote herself to cultivation. Supreme techniques, hidden realms, immortal herbs, and spiritual medicines are all within reach through her calculations. But...
She looks up at the sky. "This cultivation world is full of scheming and survival of the fittest. How is it any different from a world of beasts? What kind of Dao are we cultivating? What kind of immortals are we becoming?"
