Nier the Mage

After transmigrating to another world for decades, I saved it and went through all the usual heroic plot beats. But the world didn't become peaceful afterward. The species that threatened humanity were defeated, and power and resources were redistributed, yet peace lasted only five short years. My close friends retired, and my fellow transmigrator started a family of his own. We could never return to the closeness we once shared. In the end, Nier had only one wish: to return to the peaceful world she had known at the beginning.

After more than a decade of painstaking research, she finally deciphered a forbidden spell that could move her between dimensions.

But what appeared before the mage was a damaged blade still giving off wisps of steam, and a... severed leg wearing a leather strap and boot.

Nier: "..." Looks like the space-time coordinates are still unstable. Of course it won't work without a proper coordinate. But she can't exactly tear out her soul and use it as a marker like Voldemort.

She still hadn't managed to get home, and the things appearing inside the magic circle started getting stranger and stranger.

A wooden sword inscribed with Lake Toya gave off a powerful aura of battle.

A hair clip shaped like a lollipop had an extremely sharp point at the bottom.

The shriveled finger of a zombie still somehow felt alive.

Half of a tattered page seemed the least remarkable, but concealed half a world.

I can write five hundred characters a day, but each chapter is three thousand characters, so updates will probably be weekly.

Theme: Yearning for the mysterious and the extraordinary, but knowing when enough is enough.
