The Fake and Real Young Masters Are Devoted to Each Other

An unflappable, world-weary top who has weathered countless storms VS a formerly arrogant, hot-tempered, troublesome rich second-generation heir who is now obedient and clingy, but still occasionally lets out a loud "Arf!" and bites hard

Lighthearted blurb

Lu Huai returns from a mission world with his memories temporarily damaged.

After dealing with a bunch of troublemakers who were asking for it, he starts living on the streets right outside his own home.

Luckily, he meets a kind person. The person gives Lu Huai a glance, then says with reluctant distaste that he can stay for a while.

Lu Huai nods enthusiastically. "Okay, okay! I won't bother you."

The kind person is great in every way, except that his temper is hard to read and he likes assigning Lu Huai a different persona every now and then.

Today, he's a dog who goes "Woof, woof, woof." Tomorrow, he's a sweetheart. The day after that, the kind person doesn't even know him.

Lu Huai doesn't understand, but since the kind person hands over his card so readily, he does his best to play along.

Then he takes the cash and flies off into the wide blue yonder, free as a bird.

He just doesn't know why the kind person's face keeps getting darker and his hair more and more ruffled.

Should I try to smooth his fur or not?

Lu Huai hesitantly reaches out a hand, only for the kind person to bite down on it. "Waaah, Lu Huai, you big meanie! You broke your promise!"

Lu Huai: ???

Wasn't that just a line from when I was role-playing?

Blurb Two

Jiang Zeshen was born into a wealthy family. He should have been the favored child of heaven, living a life of ease and luxury.

But one day, he learned that he was an impostor through and through. Unwilling to accept it and furious, he stormed off to find the legendary real young master.

Only to see the real young master sitting on the curb, staring off into space.

Jiang Zeshen: "..."

A moment later, the urge to mess with him slowly took hold.

Jiang Zeshen sneered.

He had thought of a much more interesting game.

But an idea is just an idea. In the course of carrying it out, things went further and further off track.

So far that Jiang Zeshen forgot why he'd wanted to make a fool of him in the first place, and let his true feelings slip out without meaning to.

Later,

The truth about the two young masters came out, and on a rainy night, Jiang Zeshen was expelled from the Jiang family.

This time, their positions were reversed.

Holding an umbrella, Lu Huai crouched down and smiled faintly. "What a coincidence."

Jiang Zeshen smiled bitterly. "I thought... you'd be a little more softhearted."

Lu Huai said slowly, "All you have to do is ask me."

A long silence.

Lu Huai got up and walked away. As they brushed past each other, Jiang Zeshen grabbed the top's pant leg and quietly uttered two words, which were quickly lost in the sound of the rain.
