Wen Ge transmigrated into an early-era melodramatic romance novel as an utterly forgettable cannon-fodder villainess, a character who existed purely to serve the plot.
She was a couch potato who didn't compete or fight. All she wanted was to stay alive.
Guided by the principle that she's a love tank: whoever crashes into her gets knocked out, she only had to be an invisible bystander, quietly watching the leads' romance and heartbreak. A couch potato... too lazy to even roll over.
But as the villainess, she had that damned universally hated constitution. Wen Ge was despised and bullied, and the worst part was that she couldn't fight back at all!
Hey, why do the heroines in everyone else's transmigration novels get special abilities and end up as overpowered female protagonists who slay their way to the top, while I'm just plain ordinary, with damaged spiritual roots to boot?
Wen Ge was sad. Wen Ge wept bitterly. Wen Ge saw the light.
She! Would become! A dragon! Proud! Heavenly one! But, tragically, Wen Ge couldn't escape the fate of a cannon-fodder villainess. The male lead killed her with a single sword thrust to the throat.
Later, she came back to life.
That day, a storm raged.
By the flickering candlelight, her usually composed senior brother held her in his arms with greedy possessiveness. His aura engulfed her as he teetered on the brink of madness, murmuring, "Don't leave... If anyone tries to take you from me again, I'll kill them!"
Wen Ge was squeezed nearly breathless. "What if I want to leave on my own?"
Her senior brother's eyes were blank, like a demon from hell. "Then I'll break your legs!"
Senior brother is angry.
Senior brother is sad.
Senior brother has gone mad.
Senior brother and I slept together!

Li Xingzhou was aloof and solitary, always alone and never having had a friend. He had no desire to save the world, no broad-mindedness, and no lofty ambitions. Everyone said he was hard-hearted and destined to be alone forever.
At eighteen, he truly met Wen Ge, a lazy, unambitious girl.
Amid a rain of blood, she stood alone with her sword to protect him, though he was as battered as a dog.
They both got beaten up.
At nineteen, dead wood blossomed anew.
At twenty, he fell to demonic cultivation for her and made an enemy of thousands.
At twenty-one, he sought a way to bring her back to life, hoping to stay with her forever.
After she came back to life, he stumbled through the rain in a frantic search. His pristine white Daoist robes were stained with mud, and his black hair was drenched, but he didn't notice at all.
He and she cultivated together.
After that, Li Xingzhou practically kept Wen Ge tied to his belt, taking her everywhere he went.
Everyone at Treading Cloud Sect knew their junior sister had returned from the dead. She had a Dao companion, the Return-to-Wen Immortal Lord Li Xingzhou, who was terrifyingly powerful, devastatingly handsome, and loved her more than life itself.
Someone bullied his wife? Beat them up!
Someone gossiped about his wife? Beat them up!
Someone tricked his wife? Beat them up!
In short, one word: beat them up!

My own take on cultivation, with tons of original worldbuilding.
The plot might be a bit melodramatic, and the writing is rather simplistic.
It's a sweet story, trust me (not really).
Theme: Even side characters and cannon fodder have lives of their own.
