The apocalypse brings natural disasters, and people are no longer what they used to be. In the seventh year, Shi Xia, who has a portable spatial dimension, successfully completes another supply-gathering mission, only to die in a zombie horde on her way back to base.
Watching her teammates disappear into the distance, Shi Xia thinks: It's the apocalypse. Who doesn't keep a little something for themselves? I forgot to tell you, my space is more than twenty cubic meters.
She dies one night and wakes the next in another world, having transmigrated into the much-despised daughter the general's family has just brought home. In a world with blue skies, abundant resources, and no zombies, Shi Xia can't help but let loose.
Her biological older brother looks down on her. He's a wastrel, unruly and stubborn, and always wants to leave and go back to the mountains to acknowledge bandits as his parents.
Her twin younger brother can't stand her. She's not as good as their elder sister: she isn't learned or sensible, isn't gentle and kind, and won't even settle down to study.
Her adopted older sister is full of worry. She often comes to Shi Xia openly, asking her to accept her, while secretly always trying to drive Shi Xia out.
Her father is away, her mother's easily swayed, and the only one with any sense of humor is the old lady.
But Shi Xia doesn't get it: What have I done to deserve this whole family looking down on me? So what if you're rich and powerful? Does having a little education mean you can trample all over other people's dignity? Damn it! Just watch me rob you of every last one of your rare treasures.
Everyone else is baffled, too: "What do you see in that second-rate peddler?"
Shi Xia sneers: Because he's the only fellow villager who can ride a motorized tricycle and help her find someone to cure her poison and save her life!
Meng Tan Jue, the 21st-century World Chef Championship winner who has three deadweight dependents in tow: Don't drag me into this!
Those who think Shi Xia is just petty, throwing a tantrum, and making a fuss, and that she'll eventually come back, end up witnessing the rise of a city.
In the end, they regret it!
[Bonus Scene]
Shi Xia refuses to help.
As they leave in disappointment, she suddenly calls after them: Oh, right, I'll take the old lady.
The old lady, who's been enjoying the good life with her: Hm? Xiaxia?
