After being given a new life in a way she had never imagined, Maoyue fell into deep thought. She had believed death was inevitable, and that someone who was about to die didn't need to plan for the future.
But since she was still alive, a new question arose: Where should she go?
She awoke on a remote island in a sea of mist and first set foot on the eternal island of thunder. But in a country shrouded by closed borders and the shadow of war, there was no place for her.
The city-state of wind was free enough, but she received an oblique warning from the Anemo Archon. The bard plucked his strings and sang once more the fairy tale written for a grown-up.
The god of the land of stone traveled with her for a time in the guise of a mortal. Yet as they parted, he asked her whether humanity truly had no need for gods.
The god of the city of grass and learning was still young, dwelling in the Pure Palace. When she hacked into the Void System to verify a rumor, she unexpectedly caught sight of a god in her dreams...
Midway through her journey, Maoyue met a woman who introduced herself as "Hexenzirkel, Codename B." She had come because of Maoyue's unusual fate.
"Do you know?" the witch said. "Your constellation has never lit up, yet your fate is still clearly intertwined with someone else's."
She studied Maoyue for a moment longer, then added uncertainly, "Perhaps it's a bond that spans worlds."
P.S.:
/ This is a self-indulgent work written because I wanted to do some lore exploration. It contains a huge amount of speculation and conjecture.
/ The protagonist will interact with many playable characters. My current favorites are Scaramouche, Kazuha, and Ayato ().
/ The protagonist's story begins slightly before the game's main storyline. The Traveler is Lumine.
/ The protagonist has a romantic pairing and is not from Teyvat.
Theme: Exploring the unknown.
I remember there was [animal meat] after the jars were broken, but that square was a place for sacrifices, so it's self-evident whose meat it belongs to.
