Then he quietly leaned close to Jimo Xue's ear. "My wife, are you really willing to hit me?"

At those words, the sword in Jimo Xue's hand wavered slightly.

Ye Congyin asked again, "My wife, our son is still in that snake egg. If you don't come back, do you want to watch him die?"

At that second question, Jimo Xue's ears turned faintly red.

They continued to pretend to fight, but the Immortal Lord no longer dared to look the Demon Lord in the eye.

"My wife, you used to spend every night entwined with me. Now we're facing each other with weapons... How could I bear to hurt you?"

The Demon Lord looked quite vexed. Jimo Xue's face turned pink, and at last he completely lost his composure. The battle could no longer continue. To bring the war to an end, the magnanimous Demon Lord proposed a marriage alliance with the Immortal Realm.

He wanted only to marry the Moon-Crossing Immortal Lord.

On their third wedding night, the Demon Lord finally held nothing back. He watched the pure and noble immortal blush, then reveal his true nature: right in front of him, he turned into his original form.
