Deliberately Doting on You

After three years together, Shen Ying catches her boyfriend cheating on her.

After a night of drinking, she accidentally sleeps with her own boss, Song Yan.

The next day, when Shen Ying sees who her one-night stand was, she runs.

Her boss, Song Yan, is an up-and-coming name in tech. After returning from studying abroad, he became the executive president of the Song Group. People say he's as cold as frost and uninterested in women.

After thinking it over, Shen Ying tiptoes back to the office three days later and heads to the top-floor office to formally resign.

But when she walks in, she sees a marriage agreement beside the man's gleaming, cold wristwatch.

Song Yan needs a wife, so Shen Ying takes the position.

From treating each other with distant respect, to treating each other with courtesy, and finally to spending every day and night entwined together.

Thinking back to how it all began,

after one drink too many, Shen Ying pulled the high-and-mighty beauty off his pedestal and into her arms. Then, as if possessed, the two of them spent the night making love.

On countless steamy nights afterward, Song Yan learned to kiss her the way Shen Ying had kissed him back then, savoring her soft lips as he murmured, "Yingying, you have to take responsibility for me too."

A little scene: One day after they get married, Shen Ying happens to hear her young niece complain and realizes that Song Yan was the one who arranged for her ex-boyfriend to cheat on her.

That night, Shen Ying hooks a finger into Song Yan's collar. "Boss, don't you have something to tell me?"

Song Yan picks her up and gently nips at her lips. "A man who can be stolen away isn't fit to be your husband."

Shen Ying gives him a faintly amused look. "You've got some nerve. Tell me, what kind of man is fit to be my husband?"

"One like me, of course."

Song Yan: You thought it was fate sent by heaven. Actually, I'd been plotting it for a long time.

Theme: You have to fight for love.
